
One chairman of the NPP’s radio station has burnt into ashes. The radio station of the NPP’s Chairman has currently been gutted by fire.
According to reports, occupants of the department in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti Region wandered helplessly in uncontrollable tears as the fire tore through the entire edifice, sparing nothing in its way.
The inferno, apart from gutting all the residential apartments also swept through the premises of DomPeace 97.5 FM, owned by the Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Odotobri Constituency, Mr. Dominic Bosompim.
An eyewitnesses stated that the fire started around 1:30 AM Sunday dawn from a small room serving as a kitchen in the house.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM , a journalist working in DomPeace FM, Eben said some of the essential equipment in the station, like the transmitter were salvaged.
The DomPeace FM station was the only radio station in the Amansie Central District reaching over 100,000 people in that enclave
However,the cause of the fire is unknown but tenants say there was nothing capable of burning no electrical wiring in the room.
