“No Infrastructure, No school”- Basic school students in Obuasi storm municipal office to protest poor structures

Students in a basic school that is located in the Obuasi West Constituency have launched a massive protest against their leaders in the municipality.

Sharing a video of the incident on social media, an influential Twitter user named @JMbapeppy indicated that the students were at the municipal office attempting to seek redress to their poor educational infrastructure.

According to @JMbapeppy, there are several schools in the Obuasi West Constituency that have an extremely poor infrastructure with the school that went on the protest, being just one of many.

This adds up to the several calls from different sections of the Ghanaian society for leaders to fix various parts of the country. It is difficult for individuals to try fixing themselves in an environment that is not structured to favor people whose attitudes are fixed. These school kids are ready to study but the structures to aid in their studies are not available
