Natascha Münter is the wife of Bob Weir. Natascha Münter’s husband is an American musician and songwriter. He gained the public’s attention for being a founding member of the rock band Grateful Dead. After the Grateful Dead disbanded in 1995, Weir performed with The Other Ones, later known as The Dead, together with other former members of the Grateful Dead.
Weir also founded and played in several other bands during and after his career with the Grateful Dead, including Kingfish, the Bob Weir Band, Bobby, and the Midnites, Scaring the Children, RatDog, and Furthur, which he co-led with former Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh.

Bob Weir’s wife, Natascha Münter is the child of a Japanese-Hawaiian mother from the Island of Hawaii and a German father, who was working at the Hawaii State Hospital in Kāneʻohe. Her father relocated to Rochester, Minnesota for work at the Mayo Clinic, where her sister Leilani was born. Her sister is an almost lifelong vegetarian and became vegan in 2011. However, it is not clear whether Natascha Münter is a vegan like her sister.
Natascha’s younger sister Leilani Munter is an American former professional stock car racing driver and environmental activist. She last competed in the ARCA Menards Series and previously drove in the Firestone Indy Lights, the development league of IndyCar. Leilani currently lives in Cornelius, North Carolina.

Bob Weir and his wife have been married for about 22 years
Natascha Münter and Bob got married on July 15, 1999. No information has been shared about how the two love birds met but the two were believed to have dated for some time before getting married in a beautiful ceremony in the presence of friends and family.
Weir and Münter are still loved up and still together. They have been married for 23 years now. Their 23 years of marriage have been blessed with two beautiful daughters. Shala Monet Weir and Chloe Kaelia Weir.
Natascha Münter’s sister Leilani identifies herself as being childfree: a position she largely owes to helping greatly reduce her ecological impact on the planet.
She further believes that the decision to refrain from having any children must be normalized to deal with human overpopulation. She is also a patron of Population Matters in order to spread awareness regarding the issue. As we said earlier Natascha has two daughters.
Natascha Münter’s husband, Weir is on the board of directors of the Rex Foundation, the Furthur Foundation, and HeadCount. He also is a member of the Advisory Board of the Jerry Garcia Foundation along with Peter Shapiro and Seth Rogin.

He is an honorary member of the board of directors of the environmental organization Rainforest Action Network, along with Woody Harrelson, Bonnie Raitt, and John Densmore. He is also on the honorary board of directors of Little Kids Rock, a non-profit organization that provides free musical instruments and instruction to children in under-served public schools throughout the U.S.

According to Firenews, Bob Weir’s wife is an LGBTQ+ ally. The publication revealed when the HB2 bathroom bill was passed in North Carolina in 2016, she used one of Dead and Company’s shows to show her support for the LGBTQ+ community in the state.
She didn’t stop there, Bob Weir’s wife, Natascha Münter also designed T-shirts with the rock band’s logo and the Pride flag for her upcoming show in Charlotte. Aside from her support for the LGBTQ+ community, she is also an advocate for voting and women’s reproductive rights. Münter and Weir attended a march in October 2021, where the musician held up a sign reading “TEXAS. WHERE A VIRUS HAS REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS, WOMEN DO NOT.”
