Lynne St. David is the wife of Norman Jewison. Lynne St. David’s husband is a Canadian retired film and television director, producer, and founder of the Canadian Film Centre. In his decades-long career, he has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director three times in three separate decades for In the Heat of the Night, Fiddler on the Roof, and Moonstruck. He is also known for films including  A Soldier’s Story, Agnes of God, Other People’s Money, Only You, The Hurricane, and The Statement.

Lynne St. David is the wife of Norman Jewison. The couple started dating in 2008 before they tied the knot two years later in 2010 in a beautiful wedding ceremony in the presence of their friends, families, and loved ones. Before he married Lynne, director Norman Jewison was married to Margaret Ann Dixon. Margaret died on November 26, 2004, the day following her 74th birthday, in Orangeville, Ontario, from undisclosed causes.

After exchanging their vows beneath the chuppah in their garden in 2010, Lynne St. David and Norman have been together for more than a decade and their love is still growing. Her married name is Lynne St. David-Jewison. Though the couple has no children together, the director is a father of three-  Michael Jewison, Kevin Jewison, and Jennifer Jewison -from his previous marriage to Margaret Ann Dixon. He also has five grandchildren.

The two love birds have been spotted at various events all loved up. Director Norman Jewison and his wife Lynne St. David attended the 50th-anniversary screening of “In the Heat of the Night” during the opening night of the TCM Classic Film Festival at TCL Chinese Theatre in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles on April 6, 2017.

They also attended the Governor General’s Awards 25th Anniversary Gala at National Arts Center on June 29, 2017, in Ottawa, Canada. Not forgetting when the dashing couple posed for the camera while attending the Telefilm Canada Oscar Week Gala held at The Four Seasons Hotel on February 19, 2015, in Beverly Hills, California.

While it is unclear what exactly Lynn dies for a living, Jewison has received numerous recognition for his art. In recognition of his contributions to the arts, as well as his sustained support, Jewison was installed as Chancellor of Victoria University in the University of Toronto in 2004; he held the position until October 2010.

 Canadian business leader, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Blake Goldring donated $1,000,000 to the University of Toronto’s Victoria University in 2010 to establish a specialized first-year liberal arts program in Jewison’s honor.

In September 2011, fewer than 30 students were admitted to the Norman Jewison Stream for Imagination and the Arts. Goldring graduated from the school in 1981. Norman Jewison and his wife Lynne St. David also have a charity foundation– The Norman and Lynne St. David Jewison Foundation.
