As an actor, her father appeared as a guest on numerous shows between 1956 and 1988. Aletter starred in three programs in the 1960s, beginning with Bringing Up Buddy, a sitcom during the 1960–1961 season. He went on to appear in the eighth episode of Lucille Ball’s The Lucy Show in the 1962 segment “Lucy the Music Lover.” Aletter was cast as Dr. Sam Eastman, an ear-nose-throat specialist who adores classical music.

Lesley Aletter was brought up in the entertainment business with both parents Lee Meriwether and father Frank Aletter very popular in the business. With an older sister, Kyle Aletter, who also started appearing on the screens at a very young age. It’s no surprise Lesley also found herself trying to follow that same road. According to her mother’s website, with the ups and downs of getting one job to losing ten, it seemed that she didn’t enjoy the family style of being in front of the camera.

However, that didn’t stop her from acquiring amazing acting skills. Being on sets her whole life with her mother from TV shows like “Barnaby Jones,” “Star Trek” and the movie “Batman,” Lesley garnered skills on how to perform and create, in and around movie sets from her mother and other actors around.

Lee Meriwether’s daughter, Lesley Aletter has been the stunt doubled the likes of Sigourney Weaver, Lucy Lawless, and Minnie Driver, to name a few. Lesley couldn’t ask for a better job than being a stuntwoman. After working in the industry for years and the experience garnered, Lesley is on the board of The Stuntwomens Foundation, a non-profit organization to help injured Stuntwomen.
