Kim Reeves was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on September 16, 1966. She was not the only child of her parents, she had three other siblings, they are,  Emma Reeves, Karina Miller, and Keanu Reeves. Kim and her siblings had a difficult childhood due to her parent’s divorce when she was a child. Patricia Taylor, her mother, was a showgirl.

Her father, Samuel Nowlin Reeves, Jr., was prone to attracting trouble, drugs, and alcohol.
Kim moved to Sydney with her mother and brother after her parents divorced, then to New York City before settling in Canada. She spent the majority of her childhood in Canada before moving back to the United States to pursue her acting career.

She made her debut in the 1992 martial arts movie ‘Samurai Vampire Bikers from Hell. Kim wrote, produced, and starred in the 2002 romantic comedy ‘Love Don’t Come Easy’ after appearing in ‘Samurai Vampire Bikers from Hell.’ She portrayed ‘Nikki’ in the film, and her acting abilities were praised by critics.

Kim played a woman who resists her aunt’s attempts to play matchmaker in the Reebie Sullivan-directed film, which also starred Christopher Atkins in the lead role. Kim’s acting career was hampered by health issues, as she was diagnosed with cancer and had to fight the deadly disease for a decade.

When the entire world was praising Kim Reeves’s brother, Keanu for his magnificent performance in the 1999 fantasy thriller ‘Matrix,’ Kim was also going through a difficult period in his life.

 As a loving brother, Keanu Reeves was there for his sister Kim when she was diagnosed with leukemia. The famous actor paid for Kim’s treatment as well as donated money to several non-profit organizations, which are working on finding a cure for the disease.

Kim was able to overcome cancer after ten years of fighting thanks to her determination and self-belief. Her brother, too, was instrumental in her recovery from the dreaded disease. After the nearly 10 years of battle between her and cancer, Kim revealed that she had managed to beat it, but was still very weak and had to take more time to recover.

Kim Reeves and her brother appear to have a very strong sibling bond. She is extremely close to her brother Keanu, and the two are frequently seen attending all of Keanu’s events together, as he apparently prefers to bring his sister rather than his girlfriend. Kim has stated that her brother Keanu has helped her cope with her father’s absence and his drug and alcohol abuse, despite the fact that he is allegedly clean today and attempting to spend more time with his children.

Kim Reeves’s brother Keanu met director David Lynch’s assistant Jennifer Syme at a party for his band Dogstar in 1998, and they began dating. Syme gave birth to the couple’s stillborn child, Ava Archer Syme-Reeves, on December 24, 1999, eight months into her pregnancy. The couple split up a few weeks later but later reconciled.

Syme was killed on April 2, 2001, when her vehicle collided with three parked cars on Cahuenga Boulevard in Los Angeles. Reeves told investigators that they had reconciled.

They were brunching together in San Francisco on April 1, 2001. The next day, Reeves called the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office and asked, according to Lt. Mac Willie, if Syme was there. Reeves acted as a pallbearer for Syme, who was buried next to their daughter. He was scheduled to film the sequels to The Matrix the following spring, but sought “peace and time”, according to friend Bret Domrose of Dogstar.
