Juanita Katt’s mother, Hale was an American actress best known for her role as legal secretary Della Street in the television series Perry Mason, earning her a 1959 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She reprised the role in 30 Perry Mason made-for-television movies.
How did her parents meet and started their relationship? In 1945, during the filming of West of the Pecos, Hale met actor Bill Williams. The couple fell in love and dated for sometime before getting married. They got married on June 22, 1946, in a beautiful ceremony in the presence of their friends, family, and loved ones.
Katt’s parents remained married until her father, Williams’s died from cancer on September 21, 1992. He died of a brain tumor at age 77 in 1992 and is buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Hollywood Hills).

Between 1985 and 1988, he appeared in nine Perry Mason television films alongside his mother, Barbara Hale, who repeated her role as Della Street from the Perry Mason television series.
