Germany ‘Boga’ Shoots Mother-In-Law And Kills Himself after making a post on Facebook

To the surprise of many, a Ghanaian who recently returned from Germany perpetrated a strange crime in Takoradi, the capital of the Western Region. The young guy, Emmanuel Kwofie, was supposed to marry his longtime love, Dora Kyerewa, but the lady’s mother was against the relationship and refused to let Emmanuel into her home.

They had attempted to resolve the difficulties in a variety of ways but to no effect. Apart from the mother-in-law, sources claim that the thirty-year-old lady has also turned down Emmanuel’s marriage proposal. Emmanuel Kwofie did not understand why she was no longer interested in the marriage. On the evening of Sunday, August 15, 2021, Emmanuel took out his revolver and went straight to the residence of his in-law, Elizabeth Nkrumah, also known as Auntie Beyew at Apremdo.

According to the sources, his goal was the lady, but when he arrived at the house, she was not there, but the in-law was. He shot her numerous times before stabbing himself in the abdomen with a knife. The two were transported to Kwesimintsim’s Sawmill Hospital for medical care, but medical personnel was unable to rescue them, and they both died.

When Emmanuel arrived at the residence, his mother-in-law was bathing. Someone knocked on the bathroom door, she heard. She overcame her trepidation and confronted her in-law with a pistol. He shot his in-law in the thigh numerous times without asking any questions. Charles Nkrumah, the dead in-brother, law claims that none of the family members were in favor of the marriage. Emmanuel, he claims, has not demonstrated excellent character over the years to warrant him marrying their daughter.

The ‘Germany boga’ has been making some fascinating posts on Facebook for some time now, which is an intriguing element of the case. Emmanuel stated in one of his articles that his time on earth was limited and that he would be leaving very soon. He posted another post yesterday night, just before completing the deed. “We see them in the dark,” he explained.

This is an indication that Emmanuel Kwofie was willing to go to any length to end his own life, but no one took the messages seriously. It’s past time for us to pay attention to our friends’ social media posts and recognize when they are in danger. If Emmanuel Kwofie’s close friends had taken her social media messages seriously, they would have known how to help her in this situation.
