Francine Lucas Sinclair is the daughter of an American drug trafficker Frank Lucas and his wife Julianna Farrait. She was born in the year 1985 in the United States of America. As of 2022, she is 37 years old. Francine is not the only child of her parents, she has 6 other siblings, they are Frank Lucas Jr., Candace Lucas, Ruby Lucas, Ray Lucas, Betty Lucas, and Tony Walters.

As a child, Francine Lucas, the daughter of the drug lord had a Fendi fur coat, a $10,000 FAO Schwarz train set, and also more toys than she could play with. The young girl also had dozens of cuddly toy dogs and teddy bears that were stuffed with cash, as were the washer and dryer in her family’s big house in Teaneck, New Jersey. The walls, too, were literally lined with money; there was simply too much to hide under the mattress.

As a child, Francine Lucas-Sinclair had no idea how wealthy her family was or where their fortune had come from. All she knew was that her tall, attractive father worked evenings in “the candy business” and returned home each morning with satchels full of cash.

Francine Lucas-Sinclair’s father, Frank was making eggs and bacon at the stove with three-year-old Francine at his feet when federal investigators stormed into the house one morning in January 1975. For a brief time, she was comforted as her father picked her up and cuddled her against his chest, then scared when unfamiliar arms pulled her from him and threw her to the carpet.

A rush of shoes, firearms, and her mother’s screams as her father was arrested and eventually sentenced to 70 years in jail. Her mother, Julie Farrait, was also convicted for her role in her husband’s criminal enterprise and spent five years in prison.

Francine’s father and his gang, The Country Boys, controlled much of the heroin coming from Southeast Asia into the New York area.

Francine graduated from high school with top college test scores, and in 1991 she headed to the University of Puerto Rico. A public relations major, she was friendly toward her classmates but guarded—and with good reason. While Francine was in college, Frank got out of jail and moved back to New Jersey, where he led a quiet, law-abiding existence.

In August 2000, when Francine Lucas-Sinclair was 27, her father called to tell her New York magazine had run a story about his former crime career. Frank sounded amused, but Francine was stricken with anxiety; she dashed to the nearest bookstore, bought all 12 copies to keep anyone else from seeing them, then went home and devoured every word.

That day Francine read that her father had raked in at least $52 million from his drug deals, all of it now apparently gone. She learned about the so-called “cadaver connection”—Frank’s successful scheme to ship heroin back from Southeast Asia in false-bottomed American coffins. And she saw her father, for the first time, portrayed as a killer.

Francine Lucas-Sinclair’s father is now married to Jamaican-born computer programmer, Mark Sinclair. Francine’s father Lucas died at the age of 88 on May 30, 2019, in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
