Erinn Cosby Has Lost Two Siblings

Erinn Cosby has lost a brother and a sister. Her brother Ennis William Cosby was murdered when he was 27 years old on January 16, 1997, near Interstate 405 in Los Angeles, California. He was shot in the head while changing a flat tire.

Erinn Cosby’s sister Ensa Cosby died of renal disease on February 23, 2018, while awaiting a kidney transplant. She was 44. Ennis and Ensa were laid to rest next to each other. They were buried at Cosby Family Cemetery, in Shelburne, Franklin County, Massachusetts, USA.

Erinn Cosby had an estranged relationship with her father Bill Cosby. Erinn had struggled with alcohol and drugs at a point in her life which caused her relationship with her father to deteriorate. The duo didn’t have an amazing father-and-daughter relationship back then.

Their relationship was bad to the extent that it was alleged that Bill leaked information about Erinn’s battle with drug and alcohol abuse to a media outlet. During an interview, Bill said of his daughter:

“She appears to be the only one who is really very selfish. … I think she’s a child who has refused to take responsibility for supporting herself. … She’s never held down a job, never kept an apartment for more than six months. Erinn never finishes anything. She uses her boyfriend. Her problem is behavioral. She’s very stubborn. She’s not a person you can trust.”

It is said that Erinn Cosby and her father Bill Cosby have reconciled. Erinn is now living a clean lifestyle. She was reportedly admitted to psychiatric rehab to overcome drug use. Erinn even went ahead to defend her father when he was accused of sexual assault.

According to a source, Erinn said: “Over the last few years, my family has been forced to sit by and watch as our father has been attacked in the media. And it has been difficult to remain silent to protect our loved ones from scorn as gossip fueled in the news as big entertainment. But what you hear in the media is a far cry from who our father is.”

Erinn Cosby Accused Mike Tyson Of Assaulting Her

Erinn Cosby made accusations against American former professional boxer Michael Gerard Tyson commonly known as Mike Tyson for trying to rape her. According to multiple sources, Erinn revealed that Mike tried to rape her at his house.

Erinn Cosby even went to the Donahue TV program to discuss the incident, a source claimed. She said: He locked the door, and he ran after me, The next thing I knew, I was on the ground, on my stomach with my hands behind my back. He had one hand over my mouth, and there was a lot of struggling.

Erinn Cosby said she turned to her father after the incident but her father requested that Mike Tyson should seek treatment rather than report the assault to the police. Erinn claimed she publicly spoke about her encounter with Mike Tyson because her ex-boyfriend wanted to sell it.

However, Mike Tyson was arrested for the rape of 18-year-old Desiree Washington, in an Indianapolis hotel room. He was sentenced to six years in prison along with four years of probation.

Erinn Cosby’s Husband/ Boyfriend

Erinn Cosby has been secretive about her love life however, it has been reported that Erinn married Dr. Michael Cannaday, a general practitioner of internal medicine, in October of 1998. The wedding took place at her parent’s house in Philadelphia.

According to a source, the beautiful ceremony was officiated by Andrew Young, a former UN Ambassador and chairman of a national consulting firm Good Works International. It is unknown if Erinn and her husband are still together. There are no records of her children.
