Erica Jenkins has a long history of robbery and assassination. Erica Jenkins was sentenced to an additional 20 to 30 years in prison for assaulting Christine Bordeaux, a fellow NCCW inmate who suffered a concussion, broken arm, and nose.

She is serving life imprisonment at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women in York for the murder of Curtis Bradford of Omaha in 2013. She was 23 at the time.

Days before Nikko, Erica, and five of their relatives were arrested in late August in connection with four murders, some of the family members gathered at an aunt’s home near 52nd Street and Ames Avenue. Nikko and Erica told their family they suspected the police were on to them.

Erica Jenkins’ sister, Melonie Jenkins said her brother and sister were worried and seemed to be looking over their shoulders like someone was after them. Nikko, specifically, had been interrogated regarding the death of Curtis Bradford after a workout session at the gym.

“The police are getting shaky. It’s getting hot,” Erica told Melonie. “Let’s get out of town.”

As they left their aunt’s house that day, an unmarked police cruiser followed Melonie Jenkins and her brother Nikko, who were in a truck, and Erica and their mother, Lori Jenkins, traveling in a maroon Ford Taurus.

The Jenkinses could tell immediately that the police were tailing them, Melonie said. Erica called Melonie and asked her to turn left to see if the police followed. They did.

Erica Jenkins’ brother Nikko

At that point, Nikko, 28, started unzipping his Louis Vuitton bag and cocking his firearm in the back seat, Melonie said.

“He said he was going to get out and start shooting them,” she testified on the witness stand. Melonie Jenkins didn’t stop the car, and Lori Jenkins cut off the police car by blocking both lanes of traffic, Melonie testified.

Before this incident, Melonie, 26, said Erica, 24, admitted that she and Nikko shot and killed Bradford. Melonie also had seen guns owned by Erica and Nikko.

Christine Bordeaux is Erica Jenkins’ cousin, and she also took the stand against Erica and her brother Nikko Jenkins in the Bradford case. The ladies shared a prison cell briefly in September 2016. Christine was serving 20 years in prison for robbery linked to Nikko.

Erica Jenkins’ brother Nikko is a death-row inmate and participated in the killing of Bradford and three other murders. He killed the four victims in August 2013, less than two weeks after being released from prison.

The convicted murderer wanted her name legally changed from Erica Ashley Jenkins to Elluminati Egoddess Enniko Prestige. Judge James Stecker of York County District determined that the court had the jurisdiction over the matter since she had been a resident of York County and the State of Nebraska for over a year. He accepted her petition, and now the NCCW inmate Erica Jenkins is now legally known as Elluminati Egoddess Enikko Prestige.
