Elizabeth Astin is the daughter of American actor, producer, and director Sean Astin. Elizabeth’s father Sean Astin is also a political activist. He is known for his acting roles including, Samwise Gamgee in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–2003), Mikey Walsh in The Goonies (1985), and Daniel Ruettiger in Rudy (1993).
