News reaching Dicy Trends reveals that, Mr. Richard Diedong Dombo, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Ghana Railway Authority,who contracted the COVID-19 virus has been reported dead.
Mr. Richard Diedong Dombo,is the son of the late Chief Simon Diedong Dombo, one of the founders of the Danquah-Dombo-Busia political tradition, which gave birth to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) .
According to reports, Mr. Richard Diedong Dombo was observing self isolation after he contracted the virus in January 2021.
Although Mr. Diedong Dombo appeared to have recovered he has passed on.
Mr. Diedong Dombo was the GRDA CEO in 2017, appointed by President Akufo-Addo.
He played an instrumental part in revamping Ghana’s railways sector during the first term of President Nana Akufo-Addo which spanned 2017 to 2021.
However,Mr. Diedong Dombo died late in the night on Wednesday.
