Marriage & Children

Christine Forsyth-Peters was married to Jon Peters. They got married on June 9, 1987, and separated two months later, according to court papers. Christine adopted daughters Skye Marcía Peters and Caleigh Peters. Jon Peters allowed Christine and the children to continue living in his Bel-Air property.

Jon Peters filed for divorce in 1993, agreeing to pay Christine $4 million and let her stay-rent free in the Bel-Air mansion for two years. He later filed a request for her to leave the Bel-Air estate. Christine petitioned to stay in the house at least until Skye got to the age of 18 and graduated from high school.

Christine’s lawyers disclosed that Jon Peters owes child support because he developed a close relationship with the children and acted as if they were his biological children. Jon Peters said he voluntarily supported them financially for years and doesn’t want to be ordered to do so by the court.
