Anya Kubrick died of cancer on 7 July 2009. She was 50 years old when she died. Her father Stanley Kubrick died in his sleep at age 70, on March 7, 1999, in Childwickbury, England. He died after suffering a heart attack. His funeral was held at Childwickbury Manor. Only close friends and family were present, totaling about 100 people.
