Mostly, trotro drivers, mate and passengers have clashes which is mostly caused by money issues.
A video spotted by dicy trends which is currently making waves on the internet displays a ‘trotro’ mate and a passenger exchanged fists over GHC1.
According to reports , the passenger is a female who refused to pay the required amount of the fare, claiming she boarded the bus from a very short distance.
She said she will not pay what the mate requeste for.
This made the mate angry and it resulted in a verbal assault.
After a few minutes of argument, the lady decided to give out Ghc2 note to the mate and requested for her balance.
The mate also refused to give her the balance then they ended up in a physical fight.The mate tried to punch the female passenger in the face and she also retaliated with a bite.
The driver intervened asking his mate to let go of the woman so she can alight.
However, the mate didnt listen.
As for the other passengers, they just sat down in the car watching as one of them records the entire incident.
Finally, the fight was separated by some outsider.
They forced the mate to get down for the lady to alight.
