Watch Video: Residents Tie Mayor To Tree For Not Fulling Campaign Promise

Politicians failing to fulfill their promises is not a new trend. In most countries and regions the best the people can do is not to give him or her the nod again when the election time comes again. But the angry residents of south Mexico state took issues into their own hands and decided to deal with them on the spot. They confronted the major in their town and tied him to a tree.

Mayor Oscar Ramirez visited his people before the elections and presented them with a lot of projects he is going to undertake when he is voted in. Improving their water system was one of his promises.

He presented them with a water tank for storing their water but the residents alleged the tank was broken and full of holes that have been patched with cement.

Some parts of the cities were left with no water supply for almost a week. The representatives of the various areas forced the mayor to a tree where they tie him up and took photos and videos of him.

But later the Major came out to say He was never tied to a tree even though photos of him tied to the tree have gone viral on the internet.
