The boxer went on to demand she show him the check stubs of her payments of tithing to the church and after she refused, Candi alleges that the boxer hit her in the face, on the back of the head twice, and on her back.

Candi Calvana Smith filed for divorce not long after the restraining order case. Candi and Holyfield were no longer husband and wife two years after the divorce papers were completed. Evander Holyfield and his wife reached an arrangement during their divorce that saw Candi get a large sum of money and property from Holyfield, as well as child and spousal maintenance.
